Aim and Scope

The Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering (IJRDO) publishes research in the fields of mechanical and civil engineering. The journal is a place where you can share studies that are new, useful, and based on sound engineering principles. The main goal is to do work that is useful for both school and real-world engineering.

Aim

The goal of this journal is to help publish real research in engineering. It encourages work that helps people understand things better and gives them real-world solutions to engineering problems.

In simple terms, the journal works to:

  • Publish original engineering research
  • Support academic and technical knowledge sharing
  • Encourage practical and applied studies
  • Maintain clarity and quality in publications

Scope

The journal accepts research from core areas of mechanical and civil engineering. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Mechanical Engineering

  • Design and manufacturing
  • Thermal and fluid systems
  • Machine and industrial engineering
  • Material behavior and applications

Civil Engineering

  • Structural design and analysis
  • Construction methods and management
  • Transportation and infrastructure
  • Environmental and water-related engineering

Types of Work Accepted

The journal considers different forms of academic work, such as:

  • Research articles
  • Technical papers
  • Case studies
  • Applied engineering work
  • Review papers with clear findings

Every submission should be complete, well-structured, and based on real research.

What We Expect

All submitted work should meet basic academic standards. The journal looks for:

  • Original and unpublished content
  • Clear research objectives
  • Proper methods and results
  • Accurate references
  • Simple and understandable presentation

Focus

The journal values research that is applicable in practical engineering contexts. Work that fixes problems, makes systems better, or makes engineering ideas easier to understand is given priority.

Note

The IJRDO – Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering wants to keep the space for engineering research clean and dependable without making things too complicated.
